Last Friday….after lots and lots of rain in Southern California…I decided it was time to take some photos of my own kiddos!  So I packed up the sailboat and drove it to the snow…my dad said I was probably going to get pulled over and possibly arrested!  So what….it would make it more exciting!  OH the looks we got….the kids and I havn’t laughed that hard together in a long time….you see the sailboat didn’t quite fit in my car…..it had to hang out a bit…well like 6 feet!  I think people thought we were going to sled in it…nah…just some fun photos in the snow.  I have so many I LOVE but this is one of my absolute favorites…GIANT canvas…what do you think? (They are growing up so fast…)

My husband says I am too old for a bat mitzvah!  Boo!  I guess I would need to be Jewish as well.  How much fun I had at Coco’s big celebration at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills…what a party!  The Alice In Wonderland theme was incredible and every detail was just amazing!  I had a blast…thank you Ruth!   Here’s a little peek into the fabulous party that I secretly wish was MY party!  HA!

Cannot believe it’s here!  Lots and lots in store…events, workshops, travel sessions, mentoring, resolutions, new brand, new blog, new website….ahhhh ….so much to do..so little time!  Where do I begin.. how about with a lovely photo of the boys in my life whom I adore…..Greg and Max!

It was New Year’s Day….look at the sky…the beach…it was amazing!  So blessed to live in Southern California!  Blessings to everyone!  Now back to work!

Who has waited so patiently to see these precious photos up on the blog…here we go!   We had a special brunch awhile back and did a big photo shoot at my in-laws.  Being all together is always really fun (well..we did miss you Charlie and Jill) and then documenting it was even more special!  It’s a rare occasion to have all the grandkids in one photo…and this one is a classic!  Megan didn’t want any part of it…but then she rallied…isn’t she a doll?  Then Ella…she just watched all the “big kids” and kicked back.  Anywho…here is part of our family…pretty soon..you will have met everyone! 

These are my darling cousins!  Aren’t they just adorable?  I love photographing them because they have such big personalities that you just cannot go wrong with their expressions!  It’s so much fun to have all these cousins around..I didn’t really have cousins growing up and now I am blessed with them!  So are my kids which is just wonderful!  Actually…the next post will be more cousins…from the other side of the family!  I do have to say to my family “Thank You” for being so darn patient with me during this time of year…I know you are anxious as anyone to see photos and I wish my fingers and my Mac moved a little faster!  Love you family!  Love you, love you, love you!

Meet the Henderson family…dear, dear friends and neighbors…practically family!  I have been pressuring them for photos for over 2 years now and since their oldest will be graduating this year…it was time and they agreed!  Plus…they have these two new puppies..Hondo and Jasmine who I was dying to get into some of the photos…however, Hondo wasn’t really into it.  He was like the naughty little boy who kept running off and pouting.  We finally “wrangled” him in but he still gave me mad face.  What a fabulous shoot it was…there were over 200 photos that I LOVED!  That’s alot…maybe because they are so cute and we love them so much…the Hendersons..not the dogs…well, I love the dogs too but Hondo and I have some issues to work out!  :)  Enjoy the peek!

Little Greyson is growing up so fast!  I feel so blessed to have met his folks and be apart of this time in their lives.  For Greyson’s 3 month photos we met down in Old Town San Juan with their fabulous dog, Lola in tow.  Lola was having a rough day…she wasn’t feeling too great and it made me so sad.  Greyson was having a blast regardless so we put Lola in the wagon so she wouldn’t have to walk!  I always love that Greyson has these cute little onesies with funny sayings…Mom has great taste and she even knit him a mini green scarf which was the cutest thing ever…well besides Greyson!  :)  he he  Here is a sneak peek….and Lola..I am so glad to hear you are on the mend…I truly was worried about ya!

As we were taking Greyson to a new spot for some photos, I looked over to see Troy with Lola…a man and his dog…so precious!

Meet the super fabulous De Vries family!  Our session started off a little crazy…traffic…change of location but in the end, I think it all worked out for the best!  After some dancing (and yoga poses) and some storytelling…we started having fun!  I love shooting at The Camp and it’s always a fun and exciting place for kids to explore.  My favorite is the stairs….look how fabulous this family is!  Here is a little sneak peek..enjoy!

I am just taken with these photos!   First off….these guys couldn’t have made my job any easier!  I am so used to running at my shoots…running after little kids, running after animals, running from animals (just kidding!).  Whatever I told them to do…they did it!  A couple times they looked at me like I was crazy but I told them to trust me…that it would feel corny to walk and talk but it translates well to photos….

Such a beautiful siblings….how lucky to have each other!  Enjoy the peek…
